Jennifer Mook-Sang lives in Burlington, Ontario.
With a background in child psychology, and experience working with children of all ages in educational and health settings, Jennifer is an enthusiastic and engaging speaker who relates easily to students and adults. She enjoys sharing her love of reading and the discovery of the surprises that lie between the covers of a book. She is also delighted to introduce students to story writing and the joys of editing and revising.
Presentations suitable for grades 3 to 8. Writing workshops grades 4 to 12.
Jennifer's rate is $250 for one (one hour) session, $400.00 for two, $600.00 for three and $800.00 for a full day held in the same school or area, plus travel expenses from Burlington. One hour Skype visits are $150.
Jennifer describes the inspiration for and the writing of the novel SPEECHLESS and her writing life. There will be time allotted for questions and answers at the end of the presentation.
You may choose the focus of the presentations and workshops, which are tailored to suit the ages of your students. Using examples from her own journey in writing her novel, Jennifer will give your students the scoop on one or more of the following topics:
